Recipe for Frizz Free Hair
Recipe for Frizz Free Hair
You can buy OGX Shampoo/Conditioner at most US department store (Walmart,Target. CVS, Walgreens etc) . Eva Primer from Costco. Amazon has all the items mentioned above
Having
tried multiple permutation combinations for frizz free hair, I think I have nailed
the method that works best for me. Try it; it might work for you as well if you
have coarse and damaged hair.
It
has become my weekend hair therapy. Here is the recipe.
What you need:
·
Oil –2-3 tablespoons Almond oil, Coconut oil or
Olive Oil or V05 hot Oil therapy kit
·
Protein rich Shampoo - Ogx Coconut Milk Shampoo
·
Protein rich conditioner - Ogx Coconut Milk Conditioner
·
Hair Primer - Eva NYC Main Mask (10 in 1 Primer)
·
Ogx Argan dry oil hair spray
·
Hair Dryer
·
Scrunchie/hair elastic
Method:
1.
Just an hour before shower, oil your scalp and
hair thoroughly. For this oil mask, you will need about 2-3 table spoons of
warm oil if you have medium length hair and less oil for shorter hair.
2.
Shampoo the hair twice with very warm water until
you feel the oil has completely washed off.
3.
Condition the hair. Let the hair soak in the
conditioner for a good 3-4 minutes. Wash off with cool to cold water.
4.
Air dry for an hour until is lightly damp.
5.
Spray the Eva NYC primer. The NYC primer has a
fine mist that protects the hair from the heat of the blow dryer while giving the
hair a well conditioned shine without weighing it down.
6.
Blow-dry the rest the hair completely. Sprintz the dry oil spray.
7.
Twist your hair into a bun using a scruchie/hair
band. Let your hair down when you are
ready to go out.
Why it works:
·
Using warm water while shampooing allows you to
rinse off the oil mask, and get clean hair.
·
Using cool water for conditioning seals and smoothes
the hair cuticle. A smoother hair cuticle
better reflects light, giving your hair the appearance of shine.
·
Using enriched shampoo and conditioner like Ogx
Coconut milk shampoo and conditioner which is fortified with coconut milk, whipped egg
white protein strengthens hair and adds hydration
·
Eva NYC Primer is a true hair elixir – it protects,
hydrates and shines the hair
·
Air drying is less damaging for the hair, so use
the hair dryer for the final phase of drying.
·
The hair in a bun lets your hair rest and calms
it down. The scrunchie creates soft waves as if you had a salon blow- out!
